We built Bloga to be a self-focused, personal space for you to capture and revisit your daily memories. Unlike many apps, we designed Bloga from the ground up to keep all your private content on your own device. We never need to own or access your memories to deliver a great experience.
All content you create in Bloga stays with you, and never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share or export it. This includes:
None of this personal content is ever sent to or stored on our servers. We cannot access any of your private journal content under any circumstances.
If you choose to enable optional crash reporting to help us improve Bloga, we may receive anonymous diagnostic data such as your device model, app version, and what caused a crash. This data never includes any of your personal journal content, and you can turn this feature off anytime in your app settings.
The only optional, non-personal data we may receive is used solely to fix bugs, improve app stability, and enhance the Bloga experience for all users. We never sell, rent, or share any information that can be linked to you to any third parties for any purpose.
All your personal memory cards are stored only on your device. Bloga includes built-in protections to prevent other apps on your device from accessing your journal content. Because all data stays with you, the security of your memories is fully in your control — we recommend keeping your device password protected and updated for additional safety.
If you delete Bloga from your device, all your journal content is permanently deleted from your device. We do not store backup copies of your content on any external servers, so we cannot recover deleted content once it is removed from your device.
Bloga uses built-in device features to enable core functionality like accessing your photos, saving location, and drawing on canvas. These features are managed by your device's operating system provider, and their own privacy policies apply to any data they process. We do not control how these third parties handle data, so we encourage you to review their privacy terms if you have questions.
As promised by Bloga's design, you have full control over all your content at all times: you can edit, replay, delete, and export your memory cards anytime directly within the app. If you ever change your mind about sharing optional crash data, you can disable this feature in settings in one tap.
We may update this privacy policy occasionally to reflect changes to Bloga's features or practices. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you of changes within the Bloga app. Your continued use of Bloga after changes take effect means you agree to the updated policy.
